It's expected to remain well above the major flood level of 8.5m into Sunday. In Goondiwindi's biggest flood in a decade, the Macintyre River has reached 10.42m, just below the town's 11m levee banks and under the 2011 flood peak of 10.64m. Floodwaters are peaking in the towns of Boggabilla and Goondiwindi in Queensland's south west.
